Damon tells me the print versions of Heliotrope are ready to go and, “that they look hot.” I haven’t seen them myself, but I’ll take his word for it (although he doesn’t like Robotech so his understanding of what is hot may be questionable). Contributors should expect their copy soon and others can request a copy here.\par

Gary Wassner corrected some info I posted about his forthcoming releases. The link I gave to his publisher) will not have a listing of the book for another week, for those with immiediete interest in The Mystery of the Jubilee Emerald , you can call 1-800-242-3650, extension 16 to order. Also, his fourth book in his GemQuest sequence is actually now done with its final editing process. Gary seems pretty pumped about the direction of his fourth book - I’m looking forward to checking it out.\par

I also forgot to mention a new community put up by fans of Scott Lynch’s The Lies of Locke Lamora. I usually don’t pimp messageboards, but The Lynch Mob has my wife and children.\par

I find that strangely funny. Heh. So is Heliotrope going to be both a print mag and an ezine, or are only a small amount of print issues being made?]]>

< ![CDATA[I'm under the assumption we will print enough as we need them, but Damon is probably the best person to ask.]]>

We are actually just printing a few copies, I think like 60 to 70. Some will be used for review purposes some to give to artists authors and the rest pretty much given away for free with a small S&H fee to cover the costs. I mean this thing is 68 pages of 1200 dpi color, it wasnt cheap to print, but we wanted to print some copies out for people that wanted to archive, that hate reading on the computer etc… The number printed for each issue may change based on what sort of printer access we have at that time. I can tell you just trying to go to a kinkos or staples and print this thing in color would cost someone a mint if they wanted a few copies so we are trying to provide that since we have the current access. Full color I mean come on thats awesome!
