The Bodhisattva

We have a couple of recent interviews over at Fantasybookspot.com, last week Brian interviews Patrick O’Leary. If you haven’t read him I guarantee you have heard some of what he has written, even if you don’t know it. Brian offers this quote from Gene Wolfe about Mr. O’Leary:

“If you want to put somebody on stage to entertain you, get Harlan Ellison. If you want to have drinks and sit around in the bar talking to somebody who wont be a waste of time, you get Patrick O’Leary.”

If Gene say it, it has to be true, and if it isn’t it should be, but it still is or could be regardless - now I feel like I’m reading New Sun again.

Next, Patrick (not O’Leary) interviews James Somers. Now, your first question was no doubt the same as mine: Who the fuck is Patrick?. It seems during my brief absence everybody at FBS have turned to more proper, respectable type monikers.
