I’m really not.
I’m being goaded into mentioning this. Indeed it is a quite brilliant stratagem, as the same attitude that I possess that is being made light of is indeed the very thing that is being relied upon to spread the word of actually pointing people to it. For this - dare I say Sith-like - gambit, Steve deserves kudos! ![]()
Steve is at times a reviewer for us at Fantasybookspot.com and it seems he has a new venture - a web comic entitled My Elves are Different where the good old Tomio makes his first comic appearance! Get Newsarama on the phone!
I really dig it because it’s quite crafty, the Yogi example is a hilarious but a real measured poke - and I can respect that*
At any rate, Steve - who is no stranger to the SF/F blogosphere - looks like he is having with some worthwhile fun with the likes of VanderMeer, Chouinard, and Eddings - and that’s cool company (well, two out of 3 isn’t bad).
*The ability to laugh at oneself is a commendable trait and always advantageous - as nobody expects you to kick their ass when you are hysterical - Analects of the Bodhisattva, page 11817889, Vol. 3,The Reign of Tomio
