You know, with one exception, I really can’t say I’m at all displeased in terms of a being in the realm of plausible and reasonable choices. Very pleased to see some new faces at FBS regardless and big thanks to all who have participated thus far and especially Brian and Patrick for putting it together.
Speaking of the Final Four: I was watching the Ohio State/ Memphis game last night and I realize this isn’t news, but even in limited time, Oden’s mere presence on the court has an incredible effect on the game. In the day of hybrid, versatile players, it’s not often you get to see a true post talent on both sides of the court. Memphis knew to attack the basket when Ogden was sitting down, because it just wasn’t happening with him down low. I say this thinking the Memphis post players actually did a admirable job keeping a body on him - he just doesn’t waste much motion, everything looked effortless. Dude was very impressive, and it was nice to see a team who could hit free throws.
Speaking of free throws, I also happened to be watching ESPN news and it flashed to the last seconds of the Women’s game - Duke vs. Rutgers. Didi anyone see that? That was an insane ending.
I think I’m going to become a reviewer again this month. I have a couple in their final stages and on top of that I have my nose in a couple of new epic fantasy releases - and the week after I’m going to hit you with some cool contests.
