More Silver Age Grey Tone Goodness

July 31st, 2008 · 3 Comments

In a previous post I commented on a recent pick-up and my appreciation for Silver Age DC Grey/Wash tone covers and I just got another of my favorites today.

This Green Lantern#8 (1961) It’s also the first 5700 A.D. cover/story! Nowhere near the highest graded but a solid mid-grade with white pages that has a sweet Gil Kane Cover. You can’t even front on an alien/monster with a six-shooter in his holster who also has eye beams!

What is that, a  back-supporter? I don’t know, but clearly we can just describe it as 100% awesome.
