The Bodhisattva

Besides being the title of my book coming out in 2047 (pre-order now) they are also two principals in a new original art page I just bought (and on the way). This is straight out of childhood here but first some some commercial reference goodness:

There are two really classic vehicle duels in the MARVEL G.I.Joe run. These are issues#34 (which I took a look at here in a Cup of Joe feature) which features the ACE (Sky Striker)/Wild Weasel (Rattler) duel and there is the Thrasher (Thunder Machine)/Cross Country (Havoc) the other occurs is in issue#51 and unless I’m mistaken this is from that issue (please correct me if I’m wrong). In any case, original art to some  fond memories of reading! Here is the art:

JOE pages are probably my favorite to find because this is the series that not only a nostalgic gem for me in terms of reading but as with other cross-media stuff (and perhaps more in this case) this brand was the hot commodity in terms of toys, cartoons and comics at the same time so it kind of was everywhere in a child’s world.
