In a post last month I announced the release date on this book was shifted to September 25th, a date that was confirmed to me by the publisher and Mr. Esslemont. I just heard today however (from ICE) that the finalized date is now September 11th (as reflected on the site). I’ll keep an eye on this for peeps but after our site redesign this type of thing will be reported at our news/feed at FBS (which we think we have made arrangements to be an essential hub for news shortly after we get it up and going - just one of many new features you will see with the new site, either brand new or optimized!).
This is most excellent news and I just wanted to pass along the info as I got it and I believe some folks at FBS asked me about it the other day (perhaps Lawrence) so there is your answer. At least how it stands today!
I get news like this all the time on several dozen books so I’m exposing my bitchness when it comes to all things Malazan by passing this along but damn, I have chosen a worthy altar to bow to, damn it!

There is an interesting image on the right of the box I’m typing in as well. Caine’s Black Knife, I’m sure will be a contender for most badass book of the year!
