Okay people, both of our Malazan contests ended today and I have the winners for you. Ten lucky people who won a copy of Ian Cameron Esslemont’s Return of the Crimson Guard and two signed copies of Steven Erikson’s Toll the Hounds! As one could imagine these were very popular contests so I want to congratulate the winners and thank everybody who participated!
See if you won Return of the Crimson Guard!
See if you won Toll the Hounds!
Thanks to Bantam, Mr. Erikson and Mr. Esslemont - and have no fear losers…err non-winners we will have some more Malazan goodies coming up soon! Why? Because I’m the first in and last out, baby!
I want to note that it is imperative to follow directions as a couple of people who would have didn’t as no address was left or they didn’t specify which contest they were entering. Also, I have been including people who email me to enter (which pushes entries into the several hundred range) but I’d stress that part of the point is that this is for BSC/FBS members and may not except those entries in the future (not to mention it’s rather annoying as you could imagine I get quite a bit of email a day that is FBS or Heliotrope related!). It’s always odd to me in that we get several thousands of visitors a day and only hundreds enter contests - but that just means those who enter have a better shot at winning and - don’t believe what your parents say - winning is everything!
Also, please note we still have one current contest active - a chance to win a set of Gregory Frost Shadowbridge novels (Shadowbridge and Lord Tophet) signed by Mr. Frost. Go here to enter! Don’t believe the wack - this is a nice set of books for anybody who digs fantasy and exploring the power of storytelling.
I just want to say when the new site redesign comes I have some awesome stuff coming up for you - we are taking it to the next level and you are going to start seeing some of the stuff I was going to debut last week, but messing around with slackers - this is what I get, but hopefully it means you will get a even more prepared, new platform from us with those goodies. I’d explain more, but it isn’t brand new - you know how we do this. Check out what we do now to see what others do next year is the becoming pretty much standard procedure.
