As a VALIANT fan this is an extra cool contest to present for me. It’s about time we have more contests with books with pictures and along with that we have a limited lithograph to offer. We will have two winners, each will walk away with a new copy of newly released Archer and Armstrong: First Impressions hardcover from VALIANT ENTERTAINMENT that not only reprints the early issues by Jim Shooter and Barry Windsor-Smith but also offers an all new story by Shooter as well as extra behind the scenes features!

The Grand Prize Winner will also be walking away a sweet limited edition lithograph illustrated by Bob Layton. It depicts another VALIANT character, X-O Manowar:

A big thanks to VALIANT ENTERTAINMENT and Greg Holland for making this happen!

Jay, I want to announce you that I nominated you for the I Love Your Blog Award (http://darkwolfsfantasyreviews.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-love-your-blog-award.html).
Keep up the good work :)

    Thanks!

Though I’m afraid I’m completely undeserving of any awards for blogging. I’m just much too busy with the grunt work at BookSpotCentral.

If they ever come up for an award for recognizing online speculative, non-pro, professional, of nebulous, hugonaminous, worldy fantastic, strokarific, whitbread eating, locusmoting, tiptreehugging, lowly, entry-level webmaster clerks, I may deserve some love though.

There should be a Cheryl Morgan award for people who bust ass and don’t get enough love!

That said, there is more actual content coming from me, but I’m afraid it will be in the form of reviews/interviews at BSC. Everytime I want to do something here I kind of end up trying to morph it into an idea for BSC.
