Yesterday I put up the second BookSpot Beat over at BookSpot Central. Again, BookSpot Beat is basically:
In short it’s an interview limited to ten questions that focuses on one specific topic. It’s a feature meant to give me little more room to tackle and ask questions about news that pops up that doesn’t turn into full blown interviews like our On the Spot interviews (which we/I still do). While being less comprehensive it’s also meant to be a bit looser, a little light-hearted.
I kicked this off with Jeff VanderMeer last week talking Predator and South China Sea and this time around I have NY Times Bestselling author Paul S. Kemp. Kemp is the creator of the Erevis Cale character of the Forgotten Realms setting and recently he announced that he would be putting his talents into the Star Wars Universe in the form of a forthcoming novel.
Enjoy!
My next couple of interviews should be of the longer ‘On the Spot’ variety but be on the lookout for more BookSpot Beat in the future!
