Time for more BookSpot Beat: the BookSpot Central topic-specific, 10-question interview feature! If this was on the ‘On the Spot” we’d be beating the guest with Yukio Mishima books, but the BookSpot Beat tries to keep it upbeat, which is apt as the topic today is optimistic Science Fiction.
Recently Solaris Books announced a forthcoming anthology, Shine, to be edited by Jetse de Vries that will focus on less bleak SF. Mr. de Vries has been a voice that has called for more SF in this mold, and today the BookSpot Beat poses some questions on Happy SF!
